All the gravestones in this graveyard were photographed, many of the photos cannot be read and are not included here.
The Earls of Desart are buried within the church in the area where there are plaques on the walls. The plaques cannot be read. Photos 5, 7, 8 & 10-13 will give you some idea of the state of the interior of this church
Each stone has been indexed by giving a number to the first surname on the stone. So, Doyle 1, is the first stone with the surname Doyle on it which I took. Doyle 10 would be the tenth Doyle photograph. If a stone has more than one surname, e.g. if Mary Maher erected a stone to Thomas Doyle or if the death date of Mary Maher is listed on Thomas Doyle's stone and this was my first Doyle stone, then the photograph would be named Doyle 1 Maher. However, the name given to the stone in the main surname index is Doyle 1, and where Mary Maher is listed in the index, the stone given for her name is Doyle 1.
